Running for U - 5k Run/Walk for Union County Teachers photo

Running for U - 5k Run/Walk for Union County Teachers

On Saturday, June 1, 2013, runners and walkers will take to the streets of Historic Downtown Monroe to show their support of Union County teachers. All proceeds from this event will go to UCPS teachers through the classroom mini-grant program administered by the Union County Education Foundation. These mini-grants help our teachers purchase items for use in their classrooms.

Mr. Roskoskey's Western Union Elementary's Teacher of the Year

Western Union Elementary School is proud to have selected Mr. Joshua Roskoskey as our 2013-14 Teacher of the Year. After graduating from Central Michigan, he moved to Waxhaw. Mr. Roskoskey has been a 3rd grade teacher at WUES for the past 7 years.
